ABOUT
Counting little penguins coming on to the beach at night in New Zealand at a young age was my first truly bonding wildlife experience. From there I have never looked back, spending as much time as possible observing and recording the natural world through both scientific research and photography.
After studying BSc (Hons) in Zoology at Edinburgh University, I spent a year working at the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit at Oxford University - working on projects based in the UK and Borneo. I then moved to the Kalahari to study meerkats for a year with Cambridge University, where I also worked alongside documentary film crews - helping them film for amazing programs such as Life Story and Talk to the Animals.
